IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE (“Terms”) CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS ONLINE ENTERTAINMENT SERVICE, AS THEY AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WAIVERS OF RIGHTS, LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, AND YOUR INDEMNITY TO US, AND THIS AGREEMENT REQUIRES THE USE OF ARBITRATION ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS TO RESOLVE DISPUTES, RATHER THAN COURTS OR JURY TRIALS, AND LIMITS THE REMEDIES AVAILABLE IN THE EVENT OF A DISPUTE. This agreement is a legally binding agreement between School of the American Rifle LLC. (“School of the American Rifle,” “Us” or “We”) and you concerning the School of the American Rifle website or application. Access to and use of the Services, including the websites located at www.sotarsociety.com, and School of the American Rifle application associated with it (the “Sites”), is provided by School of the American Rifle subject to the following. References to “you” in this Agreement may also include any household member accounts established by you, if available.
To be eligible to access the Services, you must be a subscriber to the School of the American Rifle website with either a monthly or yearly subscription in good standing.
School of the American Rifle reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this Agreement or to change, modify or otherwise alter any feature of the Services and/or the Sites at any time in its sole discretion. Changes may be communicated to you by making the revised Agreement available for your review. Any modifications to this Agreement, including, but not limited to, any modifications to the warranty disclaimers or limitations of liability contained in this Agreement, will supersede the prior Agreement provisions for all activity occurring after the revised version has been made available in the manner described above. Your continued use of the Services and/or the Sites after the revised version is made available constitutes your agreement to the revision.
This Agreement is effective until terminated. Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically without notice from the School of the American Rifle if you fail to comply with any term(s) of the Agreement.
By accessing, previewing or otherwise using the Services and/or the Sites in any manner you represent and warrant that you are a subscriber with an account in good standing with the School of the American Rifle website or application. You represent that you have read and agree to abide by this Agreement, and that you have read and are aware of and in agreement with the terms of our Privacy Policy.
School of the American Rifle grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access, use and privately display the Services solely as provided in this Agreement solely for your personal use and provided that you continue to meet all of the Eligibility Criteria and that you are not in breach of this Agreement. Please note that in order to access the Services, your Computer(s) must be connected to the Internet, and you will be solely responsible for the cost and maintenance of any such Internet connection. Additionally, the Services will only operate on certain hardware and software platforms. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that you have access to the appropriate platforms required to access the Services.
This license will enable you to view, preview, select, stream and access video, audio, graphics, photos, text, special features, software and/or messages (collectively “Content”) via the Services and/or the Sites in accordance with the terms of this Agreement during the timeframe in which your account is active and for the duration of the access window for each individual Content item. Any copy of the Services, the Sites, Content or any portion thereof will constitute a violation of copyright. Violation of this Agreement in any manner automatically terminates the license granted to you herein and obligates you to cease all use of the Services and/or the Sites.
3a. SUBSCRIPTION, BILLING, & CANCELLATION:
Monthly and Annual Subscription Plans – School of the American Rifle offers subscription plans that are one-month and annual. Your School of the American Rifle subscription starts the date of sign-up. Upon the expiration of each subscription plan, the membership amount shall automatically renew for successive periods unless you cancel your membership or we terminate it. You must have Internet access and provide us with a current, valid, accepted method of payment (as such may be updated from time to time), to use the School of the American Rifle subscription service. We will bill each membership fee to your Payment Method at the beginning of each renewal term. To avoid a charge to your payment method for a subscription renewal term, you must cancel your membership before the existing term ends.
Recurring Billing – By starting your School of the American Rifle subscription plan and providing or designating a payment method, you authorize us to charge you the membership fee at the then current rate.
Pricing Changes – We reserve the right to adjust our Monthly and Annual Subscription Plans in any manner and at any time as we may determine in our sole and absolute discretion that shall be communicated to you prior to the next subscription renewal term.
Refunds – MEMBERSHIP FEE PAYMENTS ARE NONREFUNDABLE AND THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR PARTIALLY USED PERIODS. Following a cancellation of a Monthly or Annual Subscription Plan, NO REFUNDS SHALL BE ISSUED, however, you will continue to have access to the service through the end of your membership term.
Cancellation – You may cancel your School of the American Rifle Subscription plan at any time, and you will continue to have access to the School of the American Rifle service through the end of your Membership Term. You will not receive a notice from us about the automatic renewal date of your membership term. Visit https://sotarsociety.com/my-account/ to manage your subscription or cancel your membership. We will continue to bill your Payment Method until you cancel provided that all outstanding membership fees have been paid in full.
To be eligible to access the Services, you must be a subscriber to the School of the American Rifle website with either a monthly or yearly subscription in good standing.
You may have to provide a credit card to buy products and services from our Website or Application. We use third-party billing services and HAVE NO CONTROL over these services. We use our commercially reasonable efforts to make sure that your credit card number is kept STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL by using only third-party billing services that use industry-standard encryption technology to protect your credit card number from unauthorized use. However, you understand and agree that we are in no way responsible for any misuse of your credit card number.
To access the Services, you will be required to subscribe to either a monthly or yearly subscription with the School of the American Rifle website. By entering your subscriber Username and Password you are able to access the Services of your subscription. If School of the American Rifle or its respective partners or affiliates believe the details are not correct, current or complete, or that you have otherwise violated this Agreement or any law, we have the right to suspend or terminate your Registered Account, or refuse you access to the Services and any of its resources.
The content presented by the Services is provided for informational purposes only. The actions were performed by professionals, so for your safety and the protection of those around you, do not attempt, or attempt to recreate or re-enact, any activity performed on video or posting. Follow all safety rules and laws when handling any type of firearm or tool.
Handling and shooting a firearm is an inherently dangerous activity. Serious injury and death can result from firearm use. Follow all safety rules and laws when handling any type of firearm.
The content on our website and application is intended for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional training. The instructors used are trained professionals. Some of the techniques they employ should not be attempted without professional training. Those that view the videos or postings assume all risks if they use any tool, gauge, jig, handle/shoot a firearm, or engage in the same or similar activity shown on the videos or posting.
The viewer of the videos or posting agrees to indemnify, forever defend, and hold harmless School of the American Rifle LLC, any of the their respective affiliates, officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and representatives, and those acting on their behalf from any and all such claims, expenses, damages, harm and destruction suffered by the viewer or anyone else, or cause of action which may result from the use or misuse of vehicles and firearms or any attempt to recreate the activities depicted in the videos.
DO NOT attempt to view our website, applications, videos, or content while operating any vehicle or machinery.
The Services, including but not limited to the Sites, and all materials incorporated in the Services and the Sites (including, but not limited to text, photographs, graphics, video and audio) are protected by copyrights, patents, trademarks, trade secrets or other proprietary rights under laws of the United States and other countries. The copyright proprietors have licensed this Content for private use only and not for public exhibition. Unauthorized copying, editing, exhibition, broadcast or distribution of a copyrighted program can result in severe criminal and civil penalties under U.S. laws. In particular, criminal copyright infringement, including without monetary gain, is investigated by the FBI and is punishable by up to 5 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.00.
Some of the characters, logos or other images incorporated by School of the American Rifle on the Services and the Sites are also protected as registered or unregistered trademarks, trade names and/or Service marks owned by School of the American Rifle (“Trademarks”). All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Use of the Trademarks of School of the American Rifle or of any other party is not authorized in any manner other than as incorporated into the Services and the Sites.

Any authorization to copy material granted by School of the American Rifle in any part of the Services for any reason is restricted to viewing a single copy for non-commercial, personal, entertainment use only, and is subject to your keeping intact all copyright, trademark and other proprietary notices. Using any material on any other Service or networked computer environment is prohibited. Also prohibited are: decompiling, reverse engineering, disassembling, or otherwise reducing the code used in any software or digital rights management feature on the Services into a readable form in order to examine the construction of such software and/or to copy or create other products based (in whole or in part) on such software or any feature of the Services, or intercepting and/or recording network communications transmitted between the Services and School of the American Rifle.
(b) School of the American Rifle respects the intellectual property rights of others and asks users of the Services to do the same. School of the American Rifle and its licensees and other Content partners reserve the right, at any time, to prosecute any violation of copyright or other intellectual property laws to the fullest extent of the law, including both civil and criminal penalties.
(c) School of the American Rifle and its partners and affiliates may suspend or terminate your subscription and access to the Services immediately if School of the American Rifle reasonably determines that you are in violation of this Agreement or receives information that you no longer meet the Eligibility Criteria. In such an event, you must cease all use of the Services. The suspension or termination of your subscription is in addition to, and not in lieu of, any rights and remedies available to School of the American Rifle, its partners and affiliates under this Agreement or under applicable laws.
At various times, School of the American Rifle may choose to make available updates, bug fixes, or other changes or enhancements to the Services (collectively, “Service Updates”). Service Updates may be:
(a) automatic, such as in connection with general website changes and additional features or updates to data required by the Service;
(b) at your election, in which instance you will receive information and instructions for how to authorize optional Service Updates; and
(c) mandatory, in which case you will be required to consent to the Services Update or install or upgrade a third-party plug-in if you wish to maintain continued access to the Services.
The Services are available to you at no additional charge provided you meet the Eligibility Criteria set forth in the second paragraph of the introduction to this Agreement, which are: you must be a subscriber with an account in good standing with the School of the American Rifle website or application.
School of the American Rifle reserves the right to cancel, terminate or restrict your access to the Services at any time, without notification, for any or no reason whatsoever.

School of the American Rifle along with its respective partners and affiliates reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this Agreement, and may seek to gather information from the user who is suspected of violating the terms of this Agreement, and from any other user. We may suspend any users whose conduct is under investigation and may remove such material from its servers as it deems appropriate and without notice. If we believe, in our sole discretion, that a violation of these terms of this Agreement has occurred, it may warn users, suspend Usernames and Passwords, terminate Registered Accounts or take other corrective action deemed appropriate. We may provide personally identifiable information in response to legal process, for example, in response to a court order or a subpoena. We also may disclose such information in response to a law enforcement agency’s request. BY ACCEPTING THIS AGREEMENT, YOU WAIVE AND HOLD HARMLESS SCHOOL OF THE AMERICAN RIFLE, ITS RESPECTIVE PARTNERS AND AFFILIATES FROM ANY CLAIMS RESULTING FROM ANY ACTION TAKEN BY SCHOOL OF THE AMERICAN RIFLE DURING OR AS A RESULT OF ITS INVESTIGATIONS AND/OR FROM ANY ACTIONS TAKEN AS A CONSEQUENCE OF INVESTIGATIONS BY EITHER SCHOOL OF THE AMERICAN RIFLE OR LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITIES.
When creating a School of the American Rifle account to access video content from our website, mobile application, online courses, placing an order on our website, requesting a subscription on our website, mobile apps and social community, you are also agreeing to receive updates from School of the American Rifle on in person classes, online courses, video content, firearm services, merchandise, products, and our social community. By joining School of the American Rifle (the “Service”), you become a “Subscriber” and agree to be bound by this Agreement (the “Agreement”). This Agreement is subject to change by School of the American Rifle LLC (“School of the American Rifle”) at any time, and changes are effective upon notice to each Subscriber. Notices will be made either through electronic mail, posts in the member forum, or through alternate electronic means.
The Social Community Subscriber may incur some or all of the following fees and charges: Current basic Social Community subscription fee for the Service are $19.95 billed yearly.
Your fees are based on the membership level you choose each year.
A year is one calendar year from the date of your upgrade.
You are fully responsible for paying periodic subscription fees according to the then-current billing terms. Subscription fees are non-refundable, except in the event of unauthorized charges. School of the American Rifle will, at its discretion, refund the charges that were collected without Subscriber authorization.
Subscription to the Service may be terminated at any time, and without cause, by either School of the American Rifle or the Subscriber upon notification of the other by electronic or conventional mail. Subscribers are liable for charges incurred by them until termination of service. Violations of site policy or this Agreement will be met with a warning, recurring violations will result in account suspension without refund.
Subscribers are responsible for providing all personal computer and communications equipment necessary to gain access to the Service. Access to and use of the Service is through a combination of an ID and a password. Each Subscriber must keep his password strictly confidential. Remember your password! For security reasons, School of the American Rifle will not release passwords for any reason, except as may be specifically required by law or court order. Unauthorized access to the Service is a breach of this Agreement and a violation of law.
Any liability of School of the American Rifle including without limitation any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, alteration of, or use of records, whether for breach of contract, tortuous behavior, negligence, or under any other cause or action, shall be strictly limited to the amount paid by or on behalf of the Subscriber to School of the American Rifle for the preceding 12 months. Some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
No warranty is made by School of the American Rifle regarding any information, services, or products provided through or in connection with the Service, and School of the American Rifle hereby expressly disclaims any and all warranties, including without limitation: 1) any warranties as to the availability, accuracy, or content of information, products, or services; 2) any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.
Except for public domain material and electronic messages, all material displayed on the Service is copyrighted by School of the American Rifle and may not be copied, redistributed, or downloaded, in whole or in part, without the prior written consent of School of the American Rifle, unless otherwise clearly stated in this Agreement.
The material on the Service is for the private, non-commercial enjoyment of Subscribers only. Any other use is prohibited.
The Service enables Subscribers to share information with other Subscribers. Subscribers agree not to submit, publish, or display on the Service any defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, threatening, racially offensive, or illegal material. Transmission of such material that violates any federal, state, or local law, is prohibited and is a breach of this Agreement.
Subscribers agree not to engage in advertising to, or solicitation of other Subscribers to buy or sell any products or services through the Service without prior written consent. Subscribers are responsible for information they send, or display through the Service even if a claim should arise after termination of service. School of the American Rifle does not warranty, support, or refund items purchased through “The Yard Sale” or from other users.
There are no facilities provided by the Service for sending or receiving private or confidential electronic communications. All messages shall be deemed to be readily accessible to the general public. Do not use the Service for any communication for which the sender intends only the sender and the intended recipient(s) to read. Notice is hereby given that all messages entered into this Service can and may be read by the operators of the Service, whether or not they are the intended recipient(s).
Notices by School of the American Rifle to Subscribers may be given by means of electronic messages through the Service, by a general posting on the service, or by conventional mail. Notices by Subscribers may be given by electronic messages or conventional mail, unless otherwise specified in the Agreement.

The Subscriber hereby warrants and represents that he or she is over the age of 18, and in all respects is qualified and competent to enter into this Agreement.
This Agreement contains the entire agreement between the Subscriber and School of the American Rifle regarding the use of the Service, and supersedes all prior written and oral understandings and writings, and may only be amended upon notice by School of the American Rifle to Subscribers. Unless otherwise explicitly stated, the provisions of this Agreement shall survive its terminations. The Agreement shall be governed pursuant to the laws of the State of Maryland.

School of the American Rifle Social Community Rules
#1 Don’t be a JERK! If you are a jerk, please keep it in check when using this community. This applies to students, customers, and everyone else. This is a very general rule, but one that anyone should be able to follow. If you wouldn’t say something to someone’s face, and/or in a classroom environment then you should not post it. Remember that everyone places different values on things and what’s small and insignificant to you might be a big deal to another member.
#2 No Insults!
See RULE #1. This is a learning environment! Personal attacks and throwing insults at other members is not acceptable. Making fun of someone’s firearm, workbench, or tools is also not acceptable.
#3 No discussions of illegal activity!
#4 No Racially or Sexually offensive postings or material!

#5 Don’t use the messaging system to circumvent the rules!

#6 No Threats or Doxing!
See RULE #1. This not only includes physical threats but also threatening someone’s job, or concealed carry permit/s.

Please read this entire page before you start using the School of the American Rifle Yard Sale. Breaking any of the rules listed below will lead to an automatic account termination.
The School of the American Rifle Yard Sale operates on honesty and integrity. If you cannot handle deals in an appropriate manner, do not post. If you break our trust, it will be noted in and posted in our wall of shame. Selling rights may be removed and/or your account here will be subject to termination.
Sellers: Be 100% sure that you want to sell the item and are satisfied with the selling price. If you back out of a deal after a purchase or trade agreement has been made, your account will be terminated.
Buyers: Be 100% sure that you can financially afford to purchase an item before offering to do so. If you back out of a deal after agreeing to purchase or trade an item, your account will be terminated.
If you are unsure about whether or not a deal has been struck, Message an Administrator or Moderator for clarification. They will advise you on how to proceed.
Social Community Rules apply in “The Yard Sale”. Please maintain a reasonable level of civility.

All items listed for sale or trade should be described honestly. Do not attempt to represent replica products or fakes as an original. Do not knowingly sell defective products without acknowledging the defect.

In order to keep The School of the American Rifle Yard Sale clean, we ask that you combine related items into a single post when appropriate, rather than creating a post for each related item.
All items must be priced and the price must be in the body of the listing along with the description. Posts without prices, and/or descriptions will be deleted without notification. Repeat offenders will have their account terminated.
You must have valid contact information to sell on the Yard Sale, and provide it to SCHOOL OF THE AMERICAN RIFLE Staff upon request.
You must have both your message option and e-mail turned on to sell here.

Wanted to Buy or Wanted to Trade posts must be titled appropriately
Anyone selling or interested in selling large quantities, recurring stock, or selling for profit needs to contact Chad Albrecht in order to sell on the site. Businesses, FFL holders, and manufacturers are required to contact Chad Albrecht before selling on the site.
Absolutely no stomping on another member’s posts. Do not remark in any way that would negatively impact the sale of someone’s merchandise. Do not post comments, opinions or make low-ball offers. This can result in your account being removed permanently.
No posting of anything illegal. Including trademark infringements, such as copies/fakes that bear the trademark of the original company.
If you are selling a Firearm, you MUST adhere to ALL Federal, State, and Local Laws.
If you are selling an NFA item, you MUST adhere to ALL Federal, State, and Local Laws.
Do not offer ANY item for sale or trade to residents of states that ban their possession.
Do not delete advertisement text, prices, or titles. Doing so will result in your account being removed permanently.
Don’t use a secondary “shill” account to ask a phony question or post any other messages. This will result in BOTH accounts being removed.
Sellers should not re-post an advertisement again in order to get it back on top.
Sellers must not post items for sale that you do not have in their possession. Also, do not list items for sale unless you are 100% positive that you wish to sell them.
No “testing the waters” to gauge buyer interest or taking pre-orders. This includes no sales for third parties. If your “friend” wishes to sell here, he must take the time to open a separate account.
Refrain from posting personal info in posts, such as phone numbers and email addresses.
Sellers should use their own photos in ads. If you cannot post images of the actual item you are selling, it’s best to not post images at all.
